Editorial policy
Last updated September 29, 2026
Readers trust us with questions about their health. This page explains the standards we hold ourselves to in return.
Independence
HomeWell Daily carries no advertising or sponsored content, and we do not accept payment in exchange for coverage. Our editorial decisions are made by our editors alone.
Product recommendations and affiliate links
Some articles suggest a product that helps you put the advice into practice, such as a kitchen tool for a recipe. Our editors choose these products and decide where they appear; brands cannot pay to be included. Some of these links are affiliate links: if you buy through one, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Such links are always labelled next to the product, and whether a product earns us a commission never influences whether we recommend it.
Sources
We rely on peer-reviewed studies, systematic reviews, clinical guidelines and recognised public health organisations. We avoid drawing conclusions from single small studies, and we say so when evidence is limited or mixed. Sources are listed at the end of each article.
Medical review
Articles that give health guidance are checked by a qualified professional in the relevant field before publication and reviewed again periodically. The reviewer's name, credentials and the date of the last review are shown on the article.
Updates and corrections
Health knowledge changes, and we update articles when it does. If we make a mistake we correct it promptly. To report an error, email contact@homewell.test.
